Fakulti Pengurusan Hotel dan Pelancongan

    PENGENALAN

    Fakulti Pengurusan Hotel dan Pelancongan (FPHP) ditubuhkan pada tahun 1967 bertujuan meningkatkan jumlah pekerja terlatih bagi menampung keperluan yang tinggi dalam industri perhotelan, penyediaan makanan dan pelancongan di Malaysia. FPHP juga merupakan fakulti berteraskan perhotelan yang pertama di Malaysia, justeru, bagi memenuhi keperluan permintaan industri hospitaliti dan pelancongan untuk pekerja-pekerja mahir, FPHP memberi peluang kepada individu-individiu yang berminat dan berazam untuk melanjutkan pengajian ke peringkat yang lebih tinggi didalam bidang yang ditawarkan.

    Terdapat empat bidang utama yang ditawarkan dibawah FPHP UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, iaitu Pengurusan Hotel, Pengurusan Pelancongan, Pengurusan Perkhidmatan Makanan dan Seni Kulinari. Pada tahun 2016, FPHP UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang mengorak langkah dengan menawarkan program terbaru iaitu Diploma Pastri.

     

    VISI

    Menjadi pusat perkembangan dan pencetus didalam menerajui pengajian hospitaliti dan pelancongan yang dinamis serta berdaya saing di peringkat negara dan global. 

     

    MISI

    Menjadikan fakulti wadah perkembangan ilmu yang cemerlangdan kompetitif di peringkat negara dan global bag menghasilkan graduan yang kompeten, beriltizam, berdaya saing, prihatin dan berperikemanusiaan dalam bidang hospitaliti dan pelancongan. 

     

    OBJEKTIF

    Sejajar dengan MISI dan VISI Pusat Pengajian, Objektif Pusat Pengajian Pengurusan Hotel & Pelancongan adalah :

    • Melahirkan graduan yang terbaik bagi memenuhi kehendak industri di dalam dan di luar negara
    • Menawarkan pengajian berkualiti tinggi dalam bidang hospitaliti dan perlancongan
    • Menyediakan kemudahan pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang terbaik dan berteknologi moden di dalam bidang hospitaliti dan perlancongan
    • Mewujudkan kerjasama dengan pemain industri, institusi pengajian tempatan dan luar negara, sektor swasta di dalam penyelidikan dan pembangunan, perundingan serta menjalinkan usahasama yang berterusan.
    • Menghasilkan penerbitan yang berkualiti tinggi dan menjadi rujukan industri dan institusi akademik terkenal di seluruh dunia
    • Bersama-sama melibatkan masyarakat dengan program Tanggungjawab Sosial Korporat
