PENGENALAN

Kejuruteraan Awam adalah profesion yang bergerak pantas, mencabar dan kritikal . Jurutera awam bertanggungjawab untuk mereka bentuk, membina dan menyenggara infrastruktur fizikal yang moden, teguh dan selamat . Kursus kami akan mempersiapkan para pelajar untuk profesion yang bekerja untuk masyarakat kita. Pelajar akan dapat membangunkan sains, rekabentuk, sumber manusia dan kepakaran pengurusan, serta mendapat pengetahuan mengenai prinsip-prinsip kejuruteraan yang kukuh dan akhir sekali dengan keupayaan untuk menyelesaikan masalah-masalah praktikal.

 

PELUANG KERJAYA

Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam telah dianugerahkan akreditasi oleh Majlis Akreditasi Kejuruteraan (EAC) Malaysia. Ini merupakan satu petunjuk jaminan kualiti dan kecemerlangan institusi. Pelajar boleh yakin bahawa universiti itu telah memenuhi kriteria antarabangsa bagi jurutera yang bertauliah. Setelah tamat pengajian, ia adalah bijak untuk graduan kejuruteraan untuk mendaftar sebagai jurutera siswazah dengan Lembaga Jurutera Malaysia sebelum pekerjaan sebagai seorang jurutera.

DESCRIPTION

PEO 1

Demonstrate high level of competency in civil and infrastructure engineering in line with the needs of industrial requirements.

The alumni work as civil and infrastructure engineer and is involved with design or construction project. He/she also would have registered as an engineering graduate with BEM to acknowledge his/her qualification as a civil engineer.

PEO 2

Effective communication and demonstrate good leadership quality in globalised workplace.

The alumni shall demonstrate good verbal and written communication in engineering and non-engineering environment. He/she also is competent as a team member or leader in multidisciplinary organization.

PEO 3

Exhibit skills in solving complex civil engineering problems professionally with ethics.

The alumni shall have ethical values in dealing with engineering issues, apart from being professional in handling the job. The number of qualified professional engineers is recorded. The number of reported cases of alumni involved with ethic issue in solving engineering problem is obtained (if any).

Able to demonstrate entrepreneurship skills and recognise the need for lifelong learning.

The alumni own a company as director or shareholder and/or pursue higher education and/or involving in events for continual professional development.

Para mahasiswa akan dianugerahkan dengan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Awam (Infrastruktur) dengan Kepujian setelah melengkapkan segala kurikulum yang ditetapkan dan mencapai minimum CGPA 2.0. Para mahasiswa juga berpeluang untuk menyambung pelajaran mereka di peringkat Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Awam di dalam dan di luar negeri.
