INTRODUCTION
PhD in Electrical Engineering programs are full research mode programs and their objectives are to provide graduates with the ability to carry out research and solve problems at the forefront of their respective fields while at the same time, facilitates discovery and contribute to new knowledge. The main difference between the MSc and PhD programs is the greater depth and breadth in thesis for the PhD degree. Students completing the PhD should be contributing to the literature in their fields of specialization. The MSc is the apprenticeship in research and students must demonstrate and ability to conduct independent research at the completion of the program. Both of the programs are offered on a full-time or part-time basis.
